Terms of Service

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ghostchart mobile application and related services. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description

Ghostchart is a BTC charting and trading tool providing real-time charts, technical indicators, drawing tools, alerts, and the ability to connect exchange accounts via API keys.

Ghostchart is NOT: a broker, exchange, financial institution, investment advisor, or money transmitter. We do not hold funds, match buyers/sellers, or provide financial advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, and not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@ghostchart.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. User Responsibilities

Exchange API Keys

You are responsible for managing API key permissions and understanding the risks. We recommend read-only or trade-only keys with IP restrictions.

Trading Decisions

You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. Ghostchart displays data and tools but does not recommend or advise any trade or strategy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: scrape or crawl the Service; reverse engineer it; interfere with or disrupt it; use it for illegal activity; attempt unauthorized access; or circumvent security measures or rate limits.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and all related IP is owned by Ghostchart. You are granted a limited, revocable license to use the Service. You own your data — chart layouts, configurations, and content you create remain your property.

8. Fees and Payment

Ghostchart offers free and paid tiers. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before pricing changes affecting your subscription.

9. Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or trading outcomes. The Service may experience downtime and market data may be delayed or inaccurate. Cryptocurrency trading involves substantial risk of loss.

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

11. Beta Features

Beta features are provided as-is, may contain bugs, and may be changed or removed at any time. Use is voluntary and at your own risk.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. API keys are deleted immediately; remaining data is deleted within 30 days. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will first be resolved informally (30 days). Unresolved disputes are subject to binding arbitration under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules in Delaware, USA. You waive the right to participate in class actions.

14. Modifications

Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
